So, who better to ask to create a custom artwork for Pharrell? Caspian was commissioned by Sony Music Australia to create this awesome, custom gift for Pharrell Williams while he was visiting Sydney for the Future Music Festival on Saturday 8th March 2014. The skateboard is another one of Caspian's surreal and psychedelic pieces featuring an alien ice-cream eating babe, a Pharrell spacecraft blasting off, the sexy Sydney skyline, and a mind blowing diamond in the night sky (check out that crazy detail!). Pharrell was stoked!!
Prints are FINALLY available of Caspian's two awesome posca pieces from his collaboration with Kristen Montgomery for the ReKnew Exhibition in September 2013. ReKnew featured some amazing usable art made from reclaimed materials. Caspian and Kristen (Sneaky Boarding Design) collaborated to produce the gorgeous retro looking armchair pictured below. Kristen created the furniture and Caspian provided the artwork for the arms. If you want to check out more of Kristen's work go to http://sneakyboarding.com. Caspian's prints (featured below) are available from our print shop in various sizes.

On Saturday 30th November we attended the Launch of the Smile like Drake Foundation Charity. The charity has been started by our great friends Nicole and Trevor Drake after the tragic death of their beautiful son Chris. Chris was swept out to sea from North Curl Curl pool on Saturday March 16th 2013. His body was found 5 days later at North Head. Nicole and Trevor have poured their energy into this inspirational charity to promote and develop water safety equipment and procedures, so that lives can be saved in Australia and internationally.
The launch had 410 attendees, including political dignitaries and well known Australian sports people. There was a live auction with 14 awesome donated prizes including Caspian's iconic Madonna surfboard, which sold for $3000.00!!
